I did NOT agree with the Rev Falwell on  many of his views and ideals , but found him a man of sincere convictions. I had a level of respect for him because he stood for what he believed in .
He was pompous at times and irrational at others, but he did stand for his principles.
The man has just passed and now knows the real truth about the road we all take after we leave this world.
The man just passed away and we need not bash him at this time.
God's speed Rev, I hope you made it in to the big leagues of God's line up .
Peace and best wishes to his family at this time, Howard

Nonsense Howard. The same could be said of Hitler. Falwell represents all that is wrong in organized religion (and he did not stop at religion as his political forays showed) and, perhaps, society as a whole. Sorry, but I feel very little remorse for a bigot wrapped in the garb of a Christian.

Not only did he make those comments straight after 9/11 but he also criticised Martin Luther King when he was alive saying he questioned his sincerity. All I have to say is "suck shit in hell arsehole" ;D.

I have to say I'm really proud of you guys on here for making these observations for yourself!  :) :)  It's nice to see you are not being brainwashed by religion.  It's pretty obvious to any rational person that Falwell was by no means a good human being.  Being Christian does not make you a good human being.  I get so annoyed by people dumb enough to think that.
