it's a very good product line that is beneficial to the skin. it actively repairs skin over time and unlike foundations and other products doesn't seep into pores clogging them

I agree with that since I use mineral makeup, but why do you think they have tinted nightime (sleeping) Revival Treatment?  They say you can sleep in the mineral foundation, and I have a few times and it is nothing like if you sleep in "regular" foundation, with the shades why not wear this Revival all the time?

   Migs?    :)

EDIT: the answered the color question:

The groundbreaking RareMinerals Skin Revival Treatment is the first-ever overnight mineral-based skincare treatment to help speed cell turnover (up to 35%), minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increase firmness, reduce pore size (up to 57%), improve hydration, boost radiance (up to 20%) and reduce redness associated with acne and rosacea. A potent blend of nutrient-rich minerals restore and re-energize your skin while you sleep, so you can wake up to a more radiant glow and a clearer, brighter, smoother-looking complexion. This unique, mineral-based treatment works for all skin types and conditions from dry to acne-prone, including the most sensitive skin conditions, like rosacea. And it's also available in four shades, so you can infuse nutrients while diffusing imperfections.

my assumption would be that it is for going out.  Let me rephrase, perhaps they tinted it for those that touch up or reapply make-up after work when they go out for drinks, party etc.  this would eliminate the need to wash or remove makeup when you get home.  especially handy for the type of girls that ends up passing out.  This way she'll still look radiant while drunk, and save time from the morning routine of putting up make up while hung over.

they marketed this to wear to bed?  To sleep in.  Overnight.  So you wash your face (or shower) at night then put this on and go to bed.

After I get my order in and if I like this brand I will order this maybe.  I did order  the Bare Radiance Kit, for times when I just want to run to the store without having to do my face, but being a redhead I always feel washed out:

I'm still not buying it, if anything the cosmetic/aesthethics industry(including plastic surgeons) have a large interest in pushing unnessecery treatments and products. There's a lot of pseudo scientific bogus around al this.

The skin is normally in a balance, it's a bit oily thus keeping it flexible and preventing dehydration. The second we start severely 'cleansing' our skin we disrupt the balance and we have to restore it by using creames and lotions. I don't believe for one bit that our manmade concoctions are better than what our body uses as protecting film.

It total agreement. When we cleanse, we strip away the skin's natural protective barrier. many moisturizers today are merely petroleum based waxes, greases etc that merely clog pores, but do nothing of value for the skin. Most that claim to contain nutrients may in fact contain them, however the size of the molecules are too large to ever penertrate the pores... thereby doing no good.

The best nourishment you can give your skin comes in through the mouth. It's not merely what the quality of the nutrients you eat, ...but what you absorb. Skin forms from the inside out. Proper cleansing, and proper nutrition combined with good blood flow and circulation will do more for your skin than most creams and lotions.

Unless of course, we're talking about signalling your skin cells on the cellular level. but there again, we are still effecting a change from the inside out.

No comment on Bare Essentials, as I have never used that brand.
