If you were there, Keith...you would have seen that there was a pretty decent crowd...especially for a first year show. It was a 5,000 plus seat theater, If 2500 people showed up, it is half empty...and LOOKS sparce.

Bob - We saw your public proclamation (from cali) that the NOC was very low, only to have numerous people AT THE SHOW in nyc tell us it was nearly packed.  Instead of revising your original estimate/statement, your argument became "yeah... well... well... they gave away all those tickets" instead of conceding your boy on the ground gave you poor information.

I don't like it when people of importance/position in the industry will over- or under- estimate attendance figures to serve their own agenda.   It's dishonest.

Tickets WERE given away, in hundeds...I know that for fact. The numbers I received were from people that were THERE.

AH, but the statement you initially made was that the place was over half-empty - I believe you gave a very low # estimate also.  You were sharing an attendance count, not a "tickets sold" count.  The tickets sold thing only came up later.  It was a DIVERSIONARY tactic you used to distract the reader from the fact that pics showed your low esimate was very off base.  You didn't amend your statement- you changed the subject.  Poor debating.

THose people were proven wrong by pictures taken by Legaros.  I believe photographs over your friends who were there.  Your friends gave you bad information.  You should ask them why they would mis-report.  it made you look bad.

As you may or may not know, I have an undergrad degree in history, and I love the subject.  When people rewrite it, it's much like they're disrespecting it.  SO I like to defend it.  I could care less aobut the PDI/IFBB debate, nor attendance, nor the Mr Magoo's you had sending you info from NYC about NOC attendance.  I just don't like to see someboey abuse history - she is far too sexy for that.

There were no pics of the auditorium taken at night, only the idiot cameraman panning the audience at the end of the night when trivia questions were asked to kill time while the final scores were totalled. The convention center is huge and of course it's not going to sell out or be "jam packed" however the shots you saw of the audience were at the end of the night and not reflective of the audience in attendance.

Can anyone verify that auditorium does hold 5k and that half was indeed blocked off?

They only had half of the [2500] seats available filled.  

Can anyone verify or disprove (pix, tix, or otherwise) that at its peak, only HALF of the seats were filled?  (IMO that seems low estimate, but I wasn't there so I couldn't responsibly speak on it.  However, LIFT, you should be able to disprove Keith easily if he is incorrect here)

I am not belittling any attendance numbers.  In fact, I posted a nice congrats to Shawn following the show, along with a huge list of ideas for a grass roots campaign to more succintly target groups who follow the sport or the lifestyle, as opposed to mainstream spam to soccer moms.  Also an affiliate sales ticket program where gym owners and health/exer store owners earn money by selling tickets was an idea I had.  I want the show to succeed.  It's for the greater good of the sport.

There was no diversionary tactic...just an observation by some people that were actually there...and yes, they said it was half empty...I don't know if that was before or after they started shuffling in bums and Hari Krishna's from off the street...we already know for fact there were somewhere between 500 and 1,000 tickets that were given to a few people to give out as the pleased...

I like Shawn and have nothing against him.  Hes parlayed his BBing career into a lucrative endorsement deal and whether you love him or hate him, you know his name.  I hold no ill will against him. Same with the Colorado - last year I was all on his case because of the "Superstars like..." poster which showed a lineup better than the Arnold Classic, which never materialized.  He has not done that this year, and I have not said one ill word about his show this year.  I hope it does well.

Issac you attend the events so you can take beat-off material for yourself. Why do you try to make it sound like you are a huge supporter of BB.  And remember what you told me.  Why are you going back to this show.  Face it you are as bad as Chic when it comes to trying to make the IFBB look great.  The show was a dud last year, they bounced 9 checks including some to the competitors.  This IS Vyotech's last year as the title sponsor.  Where is Sean going to get his money from................Texa sBlubber.

I called the center and found out they had the whole back sections closed and part of the side.

Keith you weren't even there.  Remember the airlines won't allow you to fly because of your FAT ASS...there are weight restrictions.  However, I have spoken to a a freight line captain who is willing to get you to LA where, Penske Logistics will have a a semi-trailer available to move you to Denver.  The hotel however, has an issue with you breaking the beds.  But the Denver Zoo has offered you a nice place to stay in the Elephant area.  Now you have no reason to attend.
