As someone who hails from NYC, I am ashamed that the EAST COAST bb scene. If I lived out there in Cali I would not hesitate to go to the Seminar...

Here are the stats...

WEST COAST

MILOS GYM
GOLDS in Venice Beach
Tons of PROS !!! Like Jay Cutler , Cormier, and ect...



EAST COAST

NO 'REAL' GYMS

I know Bob likes to say he's "from New York", but let's face it... Rochester is a Great Lakes city that is nowhere near NYC, and has far more in common with the midwest than the "east coast".


"East coast" is DC, MD, Philadelphia, NJ, NYC area, and Boston.

Whats the advantage? The Taxes are just as high in Rochester than the Bronx...

Here's a recent example:  While doing the NY Pro webcast, you made the comment "it's good to be home", which was clearly meant to imply you were a New York City native.  In reality, your "home" is all the way across the state, and nowhere near the NYC area.

yeah good to be home, which is like 4 hours away..... ::) Chick just wants his image to scream NYC but in reality he is from a place that is ten minutes from canada ...hahaha

Well....not entirely.

Cost of living is higher in NYC & I seriously doubt anywhere upstate is paying 8.25% sales tax.

Property Tax is also higher in NYC compared to anywhere upstate.

I understand what you are saying because NYC inflicts alot of increase & unfair taxes on the upstate residents because of being in the same state.  They are still not matched 100% & are separated/regulated by which "county" you live in.

Well...actually I'm from Greece, which is a suburb of Rochester, which is in Monroe County, which is in NY...

Can you guys sleep now? Lot's of geography majors with spare time, i see....

LOL....I was paying 8% when i still lived there...and that was 5 years ago.

My bad....NYC is roughly 8.375%....I just checked in.

The rest of the state averages 8% or lower except Oneida/Utica (getting raped) with 9.5%

332 mi (about 5 hours 38 mins) Rochester to NY,NY.....

I can get to Boston quicker, so now New Yorkers are part of Red Sox nation ?
