If the IFBB threw ALL the criteria for a MR O out the window (which it seems like it has anyway) such as shape, flow and symmetry and just rewarded the huge mad scientist hormone experiments gone wrong, ronnie would win... but he is a LONG shot from what he looked like when he was a younger Mr. O... which is sad because he was ideal back then... everything a mr. o should be.  Right now he is starting to resemble a vascular, thick ole' tub of shit... its too bad what he has done to himself with all the slin/igf-1/gh and massive amounts of anabolics just to keep up with these dumbass judges' criteria for more mass...

it's my understanding that the "boat" alot fo these guys show in the abdominal reagion is a combination of the effects of insulin and GH...am I on the right track or is it something else?  I really don't know much about "enhancers" hence the name "natural al".

also when did insulin and GH come into vogue in BB?  I'm betting around 95 when Nasser blew up to win the NOC and just became a monster.

As for when it came on the scene I am not sure, however I am willing to bet Yates had something to do with it. I could be wrong though, however, he seemed to take the size game to a new level during his reign. I hope someone that knows more chimes in on this.

Its too bad slin is used so heavily these days... that grainy, granite-hard look is all but gone because of it...Dexter had it a couple years ago, but lost it due to his obvious slin/igf-1 use (this years Arnold it was very apparent... his gut looked more bloated than usual, and was still ripped... just not grainy like he used to be...)

Good and healthy?  Are you serious?? He will be dead at 50 with what he is doing to his body right now... if you look at how he has changed over the years (bone structure, gut) he is CLEARLY not "good and healthy".

I agree with ya, Ronnie is indeed gifted in that he can still take massive amounts of hormones and still be in the game, but I will take it a step further with saying he is lucky to be ALIVE with how he has looked the past 4 years...
