Great stuff! THAT was the GOLDEN AGE. The decline would begin shortly after. Once the general public knew that ALL pros had to juice to attain that level of development, bodybuilding went back to Cult status :-\
Nothing like those late 80's/early 90's workout clother either, those were the days :)

Lee trained very smart. Textbook form with the heaviest weight possible.

Sad but true.  I think that basically comes down to intelligence with there being more intelligent bodybuilders in the eighties.  I'm starting to think that even having the neurological capability of sustaining 250+ pounds in contest condition might make it impossible for the brain to perform other functions.

LOL. So, Matt, are you saying that today's behemoths are only able to function because of their brain stem (their 'reptilian' brain) activity?  :D
