I recently spoke w/a guy that said he had spasms/chest pains and his doctor told him to cut down on his beer intake. The guy did and said he quit having problems.

Yeah big time. I went through this a little over a year ago. It was scary as hell. I went to the doc and he said it was completely benign. It was 100% related to stress as I just bought a new home, got engaged, and started a new company in a matter of a month.

Whatever you do don't worry about this. I did that and it just made it worse.

i think the best thing to do if youre having heart spasms is to ask a bunch of people on a bodybuilding board who know nothing!!! ...GO TO A DOCTOR!!

Aren't you one of those guys training like shit on the raising the bar vid? Much like your video your medical advice leaves much to be desired. Heart palpitations are nothing serious, I have had them for years I am 26. What you have to watch out for is if your hearts jumps and then beats rapidly for a few seconds after consistently, this is a sign of heart disease or other serious heart problems.

well i have highblood pressure which i think has to do with stress.also high cholesterol genetic,my father had it at my age,but my family is known for living along time and nobody in my family has ever died of a heart attack or heart disease.i own a business and stress at everything and i also have alot of anxiety and a little depression.so that will cause my bp to rise im actually borderline high bp

If you are having heart spasm or palpitations you should see a doctor, not rely on the advice of those on a message board. In case you haven't been watching TV or reading newspapers, kids are dropping left and right with heart attacks. What you are experiencing may be nothing, BUT it also may be something.

no, im not "one of the guys training like shit in the video", i am THE guy training like shit in that video.

just so i have this straight, based on a half assed description of his symptoms, you can magically tell exactly what his condition is and assure him its common and not to worry about, huh?

i think THAT leaves much to be desired!
