As already mentioned by others, this is an unimaginative stock excuse that doesn't hold up; Yates was far from flawed AND Dillet's back was better than supposed for those paying attention.

In fair contests he deserved wins over Yates just as he was, for being clearly superior from the front and at least as good from the side. IMO he would beat Coleman but it would be much closer and more interesting more up to personal preference who was better.

Dillet would be my choice also, he had the King Kong calves and huge ass arms He had it all except a huge back, if his backed matched the rest of him he would have been unstoppable even if his conditioning was off.

His back wasn't as bad as claimed, he had width just not much detail. Plus it was about the only flaw.

Well yeah you could tell in the lat spreads but if it's matched all his other seemingly oversized parts he would look unbeatable.

if you ever read a contest report, most writers said he looked wider standing there, than in the lat spreads.

no doubt due to his inability to pose, but also, his back was never good.

his shoulders are 3 times the size of his lats.

Is it just me but does his right arm and shoulder look bigger then his left while his right lat seems to suffer from the overpoerwing arm.

yates was ALWAYS in better condition that dillet.
