NA's Pic of the Day 2
« on: May 26, 2007, 06:12:49 AM »
Titus from 95ish, he looks pretty awsome here, IMO he ruined his physique trying to play the size game like alot of guys do.  There's a quality to physiques from this era that just aren't there anymore, I mean if he walked onstage today looking just like that how would he do?

*I know he's a POS in real life and probably deserves to burn in hell but at one time he was one of my fav. BBers, I used to have a pic of him an me from the 04 arnold, he was cool as hell when I met him...I wonder how someone could let thier life spin so far out of control?

here's the routine he did for the 95 USA, I don't know how much of the size game he was playing at this point, not saying he wasn't but he still looks pretty good there, he can't  control his abs which was something that just got worse and worse the more weight he gained.  He looked his best around this BW, maybe a little lighter, I don't know what he weighed at the 96 USA but he looked damn good there, I thought he was gonna tear it up inthe pro's....

great muscle quality, sick chest development.

if he had gained slower he could have had all that with a tight waist.  Also would have liked to see him prioritize posterior chain more.  Hams had good detail but they overpowered by quads

Once he was very handsome, now.. :'(

Look at how strong and healthy he and Prince look!! IMHO, all the GH and IGF abuse is ruining people and the sport. Titus looked amazing in 95 and 96, he even admitted tha the would never look that good again. He said that all of the drugs he needed to take to achieve that condition scared him, and he never did look that good again. I feel his physique over those two years is just about perfect, just my opinion of how I would like to look.

someone actually posted the stack on a site awhile ago and even though I don't claim to know much about anabolics it was scary to look at but he won a trophy so I guess it was worth it :-\

newsflash -- juice catches up with you...it might take some people longer than others but they all end up getting burnt out from all the drug use (see nasser, titus, kamali, branch, coleman, dorian, flex, kovacs etc. etc. etc.)

Who was the last pro that looked their best toward the end of the career?????  Pro BB is a downhill game...get as big as you can and then try to hold on to it...

lots of guys looked great long into thier careers back in the old days, it was more about training your ass off and being moderate with the drugs now it's just drugs, drugs, drugs...I'm sure they still train hard and eat decent but the amount of new drugs that have been introduced in the last decade is scarey.

I said it before and will say it again.........everyone who has followed bbing over the history, I can honestly say that all of them  would have wanted to look like craig did between 1994 and 1997.....they can deny it all they want, but the truth is, craig was at the top of bbing at one point, not from winning contest aspect, but for all other aspects in the sport.

You're right, the last to look good at end of career, IMO, were Labrada, Ray, Haney, Levrone. They all got out at top, with dignity and without burning out. Even Gaspari started showing signs of burn-out, then his come-back to fans like myself, was embarrassing.

bbing on a vain standpoint is a cruel slap in the face on that level,to say that tom and titus were at the top of game at that point is a understatement.they looked unreal and and in bbing terms "healthy".but it's fleeting greatness now they look a shadow of their physique greatness,a baseball player can still hit a ball after their highest level of achievment and still be respectable, but these bbers are judged by their best apperance and nothing else  :-\.

I agree, but we post here and follow this with the the hope that we can look and/or feel as good as they did in their prime.
