That's good that you can do that. But many of the rec drugs (weed, cocoa, etc.) were used for ceremonial purposes and used sparingly, for spiritual purposes---to get to the spiritual world. But Western society, especially American, used it to escape reality, not enhance it. But what is funny, is the cultures that used these drugs, don't any problems, or get caught up in it. Whereas we Americans, get busted day in and day out (trust me---I see on it a first hand basis). It is our culture of over endulgence (not moderation) that is responsible for our drug problem today.

My grandpa was a hash smoker and her didn't have any problems. I smoke during the evening for back aches and the relaxed feeling and I've never had any adverse effects, or been tardy.
And you're wrong about anti-mj people having valid arguements. Most of those people are simply anti-weed because they honestly don't know jack about the drug or it's long spanning history, which started in china and india.
India still has hash and weed dens in certain states and areas where certain sects of hindus smoke and they've been doing that for thousands of years. I think Pakistan has many hash producers also, but they're more for export to europe. Bangladesh has a lot of weed, but the hash is pretty much gone. Nepal still has its trusted and tried temple balls hand rubbed charas.
The funny thing is that the influence of the western mentality of drugs = bad nonsense has wiped out so much history related to cannabis. From religious history, to potent powerful strains. Most of the heavy hitting indica strains breed by the dutch and in so-cal in the 70's-80's originally same from afgahnistan and the indian sub-continent, but they're pretty much nonexistant these days. Indian indentured servants were the one's to introduce the cannabis plant to carribean. But you wont find this in any history book, even though it involves many cultures and spans over 4,000 years because it's been made into some social tabbo by idiots who probably misused the drug themselves, or had douche bag kids that did.
