Did he really look out of place at a small show?

I believe the Mr. Getbig competitors from last year had a better physique than Bill this go around.

Heh, I do what I say I'll do.

I said I won't say shit until it's already done...so I won't. And, no, not unless they change the judging system to give top prize to a Quazomoto.

Elaborate on that?

Question... Which looks  better?

Adonis or Billy Guns?

A more legitimate comparison would be Billy and Goodrum.

I'd give that one to BillyG actually.

Yes.....he's 6'4 and 180, this is not a blast, but he competed waaayy too soon, he's tall and needs alot more time before he can even think about it, but he did it and I'm sure trained and dieted hard, but at least another 2-3 years before competing again.

Isn't that kind of like a 5'11" guy getting onstage at 140?

They say about 7.5 pounds for every inch... so about 145 or so.

I'm not too sure about that.  Sure, Billy would win the "conditioning" matchup, but I'm pretty sure Goodrum has more muscle.

I don't know... Vince never dieted for a show... so you can't really compare.

We're all close, I usually figure about 10 lbs for every inch = 150.

Yup... maybe he's not ready, maybe he's happy with what he's acomplished;

what have you accomplished lately that doesn't involve a keyboard and Ron Avidan's SMF dedicated server???

No insult at all... That's my point.

Adam didn't even step on stage... and he really is much better than Billy there.

You'd be surprised what you can accomplish with a keyboard.  8)

And it's debatable whether what Billy did can be considered an "accomplishment".  Unless, of course, making a fool of oneself makes a person "accomplished".  ::)

Making the the "JKULIOP" keys sick together isn't an achievement ;D

It's all in the eye of the beyolder I guess.

You guys know how vicious and bitter I can be. I've met Billy and considering what he's been through in his life, as a human being, I can't get myself to bash on him and kinda feel I have to step up for him a little.

what I cant believe is all the people patting him on the back for being "hardcore" and passing out, forcing himself to vomit, taking duiretics all to place 5 out of 6.

Hey, I'm with you on the bashing part... That's not what I'm about anyway.

Yeah, I don't see that as "hardcore" at all...

It's bodybuilding, not "bodydestruction".

Just because you can't "bash him", doesn't mean you can't speak the truth.

Fact is, he's not ready to be on stage.

People like him make a mockery of those who take competing seriously. Those who have BUSTED their asses for years, to look their best at their contests.

What's he "been through" (besides a year of training with piss-poor advice, of course)?

there's no way he belonged on that stage, no way.

Billy is now in bodybuilding folklore .. in the league of "snickers", Vince Goodrum and half of the PDI line up.

Yes, he probably didn't belong up there... but 'eh... who am I to tell someone what else to do.

I think the advice to compete was the biggest problem.

Some people just don't have it... there's no shame in not being good enough to step on stage... That's life... making due with what you've got.
