Bum??? If you know anything about boxing or simply throwing a techniquly correct punch, that guy displayed it...Those were bombs...nothing like you would see by guys like liddel last night...

If those were 4 oz gloves instead of ten those punches would kill anyone.

i think he means that Tyson was simply too fast and powerful when he was younger, a guy like williams wouldn't stand a chance in teh ring with him whether he could throw a good punch or not. Those power punches never land on a yonger Mike who cared.

That's true, a earlier Tyson could move, no doubt.

Anyway, the thing about Mike that is impressive here is that he is taken bombs..finally gets rocked and goes down, BUT his eyes are totally clear, haha...the guy is like a rock. I remember this fight and Mike just gave up...fighters get civilized, live in nice surroundings and some just don't want it. That is a very dangerous place to be if the guy across from you still does want it.

Even when Mike lost to Buster he got hit with many bombs...and great shots they were, again exceptionally skillfull shots, BUT mike was still putting his mouth piece in his mouth and standing up...

These guys, are the toughest guys in the world...... How many people can take hundreds of shots and show up for training the next day...My brother said his face would feel like a catchers mitt after hard sparring.

the thing is Danny IS a bum. Hes shown glimpses of excellence in his career but they would total less than 1 round. Hes a renowned gym fighter who freezes when he steps into the ring. Also worth noting was that Tyson tore his ACL in 4 places and couldnt move for 1-2 rounds. Now if you cant move and you have a 250-260lb man hitting you for 4-6 minutes then ofcourse youre going to be put down! It resulted in 26 unanswered punches, and yet Tyson was still trying to pull himself up. Not cos he was badly hurt, cos his knee wouldnt support him. Before that Mike had him very badly hurt and cominated the first 3 rounds

Spinks wasn't a "real" heavyweight. His natural weight is lower.
That's about the only big name fighter he beat. An aging Holyfield handed him his ass easily, not once, but twice.

Here we go again..in MMA prolly with all the rules. however in a straight up street fight where anything goes Mike would literally kill him, its hard to beat crazy.

Yeah I understand that some boxers punch very hard. But have you ever been kneed to the head or kicked full round house to the head, or even a thrown elbow. Those kinds of shots can kill some one.

Dumbass...PRIDE fighting has virtually no rules...you can dunk someone on their head, use their face like a soccer ball etc...The only thing you can't do is bite. Under these extreme conditions, Fedor has reigned supreme as long as he's been competing. Tyson trying to grapple with one of the greatest sambo practitioners in the world would be pathetic.

Tyson would stand NO chance against FEDOR in ANY fight save for a boxing match with all the rules. Tyson was an overrated boxer for that matter, being completely outclassed by an aging Holyfield TWICE, and only shining against one inflated cruiserweight.
