I watched it today.

I don't understand if the Paul Alan incident was a dream, or what?

It was funny when he flexes his biceps while banging the hooker.  He has a good physique, Christian Bale.

His excuse of "I need to return some video tapes" was funny every time he used it.    Also liked the line "Just Say NO", he told his secretary to tell coworkers to decline meetings.

I also liked the line, "You can always improve" when his secretary questions why he diets, but then he states that he doesn't do a good job of controlling his will power, I guess he is referring to his need to kill, not his diet.

I was unsatisfied that he doesn't kill the gay from work, Louis, and again I don't  understand what happened with Paul.  Confusing end.

i think it's one of those "draw your own conclusion on what happened" endings.

either way, i don't think it even matters.

I think the majority of the killings were actually in his mind...Hence his secretary finding his day planner with descriptions of the killings in it at the end of the movie(Also, all of the guys around him worked for Pearson & Pearson and they were all Vice President on their business cards) also his conversations with the detective were a good indication of this too....

just to let you know, your local wal mart sells this dvd for around 7 bucks, if you got nothing to do go pick it up and watch it, it's hilarious.  not sure if it's the special edition or not, but who cares.

The author wrote a book later called Glamorama in which Bateman makes a cameo appearance. The other characters notice some odd stains on his expensive coat, so perhaps it wasn't all in his mind. 

I've looked for this movie everytime I step into a Walmart/K-Mart/Best Buy/Fry's Electronics and they NEVER have it. I'm surprised you found it. I'll just have to order it on Amazon I guess.

 Did he send the starving rats up the woman's vagina in the movie? I missed the last half. Did he feed his girlfriend the chocolate covered urinal cake? Did he put the head in the microwave? I don't see how they could have included that.

What about his arguing at the dry cleaning shop about his sheets all covered in blood. Hi slady friend comes in and asks "what the hell is this, blood?" and he replies "no, just some cranberrie/apple juice".

The movie is style over substance. Reminds me a bit in that way to Fear and loathing in las vegas, another movie with brilliant dialogues:
