Mike Fracios, gigantic guy who won a few pro shows including the Arnold but never hit it right come olympia time, lots of guys seem to think he could beat Cutler and would be up there today but he has some major intestinal problems if I remember right. Lifted some heavy ass weight from what I remember:

I think it was ulcerative colitis, remember reading a big article about him in MuscleMag in the late 90s or early 00s. I think he would have been the guy to challenge Ronnie at the end of the 90s if he hadn't have gotten sick.

I see him occasionally at the gym in Columbus. Decent sized guy but you'd never look at him and think he was once one of the top bodybuilders in the world.

Francois was a true motherfucking monster. Strong, too. But, think about it, if it hadnt been for the colitis, something else might have given way,no? Guy was great, though.

Mike Francios, what can I say about this awesome bodybuilder. It's a shame no one got to see his true potential. Super strong. Could squat way over 700 pounds for lot's of reps. One arm Dumbbell laterals with 110 pounds! He was strong in everything. Awesome build, small waist and tons of muscle. His health problems are really scary if you listened to the interview he gave. I hope he is doing great. Sound like a cool guy and very humble.

You ever thumbed through a Flex? The look never really went away, most individuals just grew some sense.

Mike Francois was a Mr. O in the making. He would have unquestionably challenged Dorian, similar muscularity but better lines. The one thing that makes me wonder though---- get this, he lost the overall at the southern states championships to Jorge Betancourt who weighed all of 165lbs., can anyone explain this? lol.
