Look, I appreciate that you guys do these smaller shows for free.  I think the Arnold and Mr. O should be on ppv though, and it seems like the majority prefer the option.

My question is why don't you guys go live with a planned 30 minute "pre-game" so that way when this crap happens you still have time to fix it?  It sucks to plan to watch these things only to be let down again.

Thanks for the update, this is the first webcast from bb.com I've had problems with, are there more people tuning in for this one then the previous shows?

This is the first time we have done a HIGH quality one.  We want to perfect it for the Olympia.  Hopefully, in HD.

We usually run it at 300k or so.

How does the 800k stream work? Cuz it seems that it's got to be allocated just like any other inet connection...unless it's somehow multicasted.

So if it's 800k and each connection takes say 50k (I have no clue how much each actually takes), then does that mean only 800/50 = 16 people can connect?

Sounds unreasonable...so I assume I'm wrong...how's it work really?

It's an 800 kbps stream for everyone who connects.  So 4,000 x 800 kbps = 3,200,000 kbps (3.2 giga bits per second)

Should be worknig for you soon, the streamhoster company had preset limits for how much gigs can be downloaded.  

When 4000 connect to 1 connection in the same 5 minutes... the servers feel the hit.

We have updated and should be good.

try download the latest wmv codecs. also this might work.

Why Can't Windows Media Player Connect To The Webcast?
There may be some conflicting settings in your player options. To resolve this, please go into "Tools... Options..." from the menu, then click on the "Player" tab, and check the checkbox next to "Connect to the Internet (overrides other commands)", then hit the "Apply" button, then the "Ok" button.
