I had not thought of acupuncture I will look into that one. I usually do not smoke till the evening myself. I do not like to smoke and drive so if I have anywhere to be that day I do not smoke till evening. If I am not going anywhere then I may toke in the morning and get ready to do the house chores. It is a nice way to do the everyday things that you really don't want to do ( dishes, vacuuming etc. ). If my numbers are higher than I want the smoking takes care of that within 15 or 20 minutes. Life is just much better with the use of Marijuana. My liver has given me problems with going into hyper activity when I sleep at night, of course which results in high numbers the next morning. Smoking calms this problem down and I don't get up with high numbers anymore. Nothing the white coats gave me ever worked...Amazing, Very Amazing

this is why you get the munchies basically, but if you follow up with alcohol if you eat something then the alcohol will kill any ill effects of a sugary meal. thats why i would reccomend something only slightly sweet with fat like icecream or pizza or  hamburger. the alcohol will lesson the insulin of the sugars

If you are serious, then you are really fucking dumb because a basic physiology class/book and beginners nutrition book will tell you that you cannot burn fat while insulin is present. Any time insulin is present, the fat cells are locked up and do not release their stored energy (aka fat!).

Insulin activates several enzymes needed for fat gain, such as Fatty acid synthase (FAS) etc. It also increases glycogen stores. While this is a good thing for performance, it is a negative aspect for fat loss. When norepinephrine (NE, cfr part1) is released it will begin by acting as a glycolytic agent, that means it turns glycogen back to glucose. At this point that means the metabolically active cells are still using glucose since it is readily available, instead of burning fat.

I won't discuss this in detail, as we will revisit this aspect in the third instalment, but when glucose becomes low, ATP:AMP ratio (energy balance) drops and that activates AMPK, a Kinase that tells the mitochondria to burn fat for energy instead of glucose. At this point the FFA's produced by WAT (cfr part 1) can be burned).

Most bodybuilders are already aware of this, since they will not only lower calories during a diet, but lower mainly carbohydrates from the diet. This is because carbohydrates increase blood glucose and blood glucose elevates insulin. So in essence you already know that less insulin equals more fat loss.
