David Stern just wet his paints in delight. Think of the marketing campaign with Lebron in the NBA finals. Only 22 years old also.

Will be better for ratings, but I think Detroit was probably a better match up for the Spurs. I can see the Cavs getting swept. I doubt they win more than one.

Has nothing to do with being a shareholder. If people are watching the games, then it gives groups of people something to talk about. If no one is watching the Finals, then they actually have to work instead of chatting by the water cooler.

Cleveland's got a puncher's chance. But they need "Boobie" to keep playing they way he's been playing to have a decent chance.

I don't care about ratings. Just making an observation.

Nielsen is a privately held company. I don't own any of this private company's stock (assuming it is a corporation).

A few weeks back on PTI & Sportscenter, they were talking about how it was a big controversy that Kobe got picked over LeBron. Even Mike Wilbon was saying he felt guilty voting for Kobe over Lebron, Lebron does play the two position quite a bit.

Except if Kobe played in the East this last year he probably would've averaged 40 points a game and got to the finals himself.

The East was terrible from top to bottom.

Kobe had a phenomenal season. If he doesn't score 40 a slew of times and score 50 a bunch of times, the Lakers don't make the playoffs. He had to put Smush Parker et al. on his back. Led the league in scoring, led his team in assists, and made first team All NBA defense.
