Divine was their Countdown to Extinction, Vulgar Display of Power, Black album.
The pinnacle if you will. After that anything seems silly.
Now here's the real kicker. We take the piss on bands who change (metallica) but we take the piss on bands who stay the same (slayer). I'm not saying I don't do it I'm just pointing out the irony.
You couldn't be any more wrong.
1] Slayer did not "stay the same." You fucking moron, go listen to Hell Awaits, then listen to whatever the recent abomination was called. Actually, listen to show no mercy - its a speeded up, punkish [in a good way] version of Judas Priest! Love that album, great for parties!
2] Divine had three good songs. The rest was filler. Although, i did see them on their UK tour with Machine Head in support, and DI is a great song live.
