For starters the best parts of the show were:
1. The line up , very deep and most in great shape.
2. The quality of the lighting and sound during the actual contest.
3. Bob Chic and Dan Solomen sitting on stage behind the Pro bodybuilding desk, giving a fun upbeat play by play. Bob is a top notch MC and ambassador for our sport.
4. Shawn was right there at a booth near the entance, well dressed greeting fans.
5.

Finally getting to meet big Ron Aviden ( get big founder ) in person. Ron is a great guy and it was fun chatting with him.
The weak points of the event ( in my opinion):
1. The expo was not what it could have been. Too many NON bodybuilding events in a very huge convention hall room gave it a "disorganized" feel. Get rid of all the events besides powerlifting and arm wrestling and do THEM in seperate place. The actual vendors were great however and I enjoyed meeting many and seeing their bodybuilding products.
2. No vendors or food /soft drink booth near the actual show. They did have small vendor nearby selling booze and of course Shawn'stable near the door at the start. BUt they needed the pros there at tables from 5-6 to meet/greet fans and a few supplement vendors and food available. Not sure what rules the convention center has , but why not just have the vendors at that huge area just outside the theatre??
3. The night show finals are too long , 6 pm to around 11 pm, the pro men didn't get on stage until late into the event. Do all the NPC stuff on friday afernoon and eve and give saturday for only the pros (bodybuilding and figure).
???Instead of dancers why not have the arm wrestling finals on the stage at the sat and friday night show.

4. I am not sure how the promoters do $$$$ with their current location of the Denver Convention center as it stands now. BUT, I think the show would be better in a classy but smaller place.
It would be filled to a higher % and give a more intimate feel to the event.
Overall, the Colorado Pro was a decent event and another good show for us fans to attend and enjoy!
The recent Jr USA in Charleston was a model for how a major bodybuilding event should be done.
The theatre was awesome, the parking cheap and easy to use and the vendors set up in a well organized, professional looking areas near the actual contest. Despite all the figure contestants that event went off like clock work. I give a huge thumbs up to Jr USA promoter Tres Bennet and wife Shannon

Why not have some monster do a huge BP on stage as well. THAT would be cool.
