I'm trying to find something to watch and see they have Pride on or whatever it is. After the match they cut to the anchors sitting in the studio. Wouldn't you know they both have bic'd heads, no necks and suits with 4" shoulder pads.

If anybody is up on the whole MMA thing is this dress code enforced by law or something? It's silly as shit hahahaha

Sports are to much of a distraction for fat morons for me to be hardcore about it.

What I find funny is the whole "look" of MMA and the level to which guys who wish they had the balls to get into a fight get into the sport itself.

MMA to be honest is to violent for me. I'd even say barbaric. Boxing is controlled and while the goal is to pound the other guy there's a lot of rules to negate the damage and it puts more emphasize on skill. Knocking a guy out then hitting him while he's limp for 4 shots isn't "cool" or "fun" to me.

what do you mean by "get into the sport"

are you talking about guys that are just fans or the guys that think they could be fighters just like they thought they could be pro wrestlers 5 years ago?

there is more skill involved in mma, boxing is just punching and defending punches

studies say it is safer to hit a guy while he is down AND THEN STOPPING THE FIGHT than it is to let him stand up after being knocked down and then continuing the fight
