is commen knowledge that mixing booze and gear  is retarded for your liver , but has any one here have any experience ( or know any one ) who has used marijuana munchies for trying to bulk up when there not hungry and are there any know negative androgenic side effects from smokeing weed ?

works very well for me. no side effects/ works better than any steroid actually for increasing appetite. I can eat countless times. as long as you dont slack off on your training and cardio its fine. if your worried about increased estrogen use a AI.

I have smoked some weed in my day, right now I am not for a while.  But will say the munchies are for real big time!  pot will stimulate your appetite a lot!  So much that I had to stop because I could not control my eating, I'm sure I will visit Mary Jane again one day but not now. 

Here is an example of an out of control night with Mary:  Dinner at 7:00pm 2 NY strip steaks, asparagus, half a small sweet potato. 7:30 Post dinner bowl of weed. 8:30pm 4oz natural peanut butter 3 metrex chocolate chocolate chunk protein bars. 9:00pm 1/2 cup of almonds, 4oz Peanut butter 2 more protein bars 10pm 2 more protein bars.  7 protein bars=approx 2240 calories. half a jar PB =approx 1750 calories. half cup almonds= approx 1500 calories. 700 calories

Total 5490 4650 calories AFTER dinner!  Yeah the weed will make you hungry no matter what.  EQ stimulates appetite  ::) try some dank! LOL

* Correction to above half cup almonds is more like 700calories,  Brings the total to about 4650 calories.

Exactly. It is the best hands down for appetite stimulation. injectable dbol, EQ have nothing on it. without it there is no way I could get in as many meals as I do. just dont smoke it before workouts.

I agree...just don't smoke all day.

i rarely smoke but when i did regularly it never effected my training or work. my old workout partner and i used to smoke after lifting weights and then eat a huge meal.

i wish pot and AAS were legal.

I actually grow it legally. state laws where I am from are lenient. you can caretake for somebody who has a medical condition. all it takes is filling out paperwork and 300$ and you can legally grow 8 plants. technically not for yourself but nobody checks up and real get bent-lol

i read that too....it said something about increasing estrogen in the body..

It does lower your natural T levels and raise your E levels but these guys are taking gear so it does not really matter for them.

mmmmmm...you might be suprised...

lowering test and elevating estrogen is a no no in this "spot" regardless of how many cc's your pumping in...

riiiiiight....i cant see how anything that raises estrogen and lowers test can be good.  even with an anti-e....lower test is not anabolic...isn't that the whole idea?

This is an old wives tale and I have never seen any research to back it up.  But here is some that says it does NOT lower T levels, this is the most recent study on this topic also.

White, obviously you're on of my "preferred posters on this board, but I'm still going to have to disagree with you here on your view of Dave P.

Why should we listen to him?

He was a top national level competitor, he won and placed very high at several national shows...some of the ones he didn't win have often been questioned...most believe it was political...particularly the 96 nationlas where he lost to Jay Cutler.

Although not a "card carrying" Pro, his training/nutrition/supplement advice has paid off for many people. Look what he's done for Evan Centopani and Tony Freeman these past few years...particularly tony, who struggled for years and didn't start do do well until he got with Dave.

Selling fake GH...you're right, he was convicted for selling GH, but there was no proof that he ever new it was fake. Even so, for the sake of argument, lets say he did know, this does not change the fact that his advice on BB is generally right on point.

Billy Gunns. Whether you like Billy or not, how he turns out is not on Dave...Dave can give him all the "right" advice in the world, but it's still up to Billy to use it and take advantage of it. Although Billy is not a world class physique, how many of us here are, he still made a vast improvement from where he was when he started...that's got to be worth something.

His newbie cycle advice: Different strokes for different folks I guess. I don't always agree with every thing Dave says about this....I don't agree with anyone person on any topic completely, no matter how much I respect their advice...we all have our own opinions on things. But I've never read where Dave advised some person just starting out to do something AAS wise that would put their life in danger.

well its one thing reccomending evan a cycle but billy is another ballgame. that boy needs help not steroids.  as for the shows even if he won and went pro I doubt the guy would have ever cracked top 10 even in the 10k ifbb shows.

I talk to the this older bodybuilder guy late 40's who owns one of the local supp shops we are in business together and talk alot. The guy is probably the only guy who I would take advice from and one thing he always says is to not listen to palumbo! he really seems to dissagree with alot of what the guy says. id take this guys word over anybodys hes been in the game so long. Im not saying palumbos advice does not work for some but there are definately people out there giving out better advice and cycles you just got to catch them when they have had a few-lol
