WASHINGTON(AP) Sen. Joseph Lieberman said Sunday the United States should consider a military strike against Iran because of Tehran's involvement in Iraq.

There is absolutley evidence that they are invloved in Iraq and Afghanistan....The US is holding joint aerial wargames with Israel this week. I'm sure the fictional target looks alot like Iran.

Carter didn't support him when he had issues with Komeni and we sold out the government wholesale and allowed the nutbags in. The correct thing would have been to make the Shah give consessions to the folks he had issues with, without just packing up and allow the government to fall. Carter was severly shortsighted and naive. Short of that, we should have helped him crush these guys.

coulda woulda shoulda..man..they dont look at who the prez ws..they see America...i'm glad at least ya have the ability to see the big picture from both sides..i can see why these guys r pissed at us...

Well as everything is cyclical, the college students want more freedom and as more Western ideas flow from the net, they have become increasingly uncomfortable with the Mullhas and the islamic state as it exists over in Iran. There is a very good chance that we can disrupt and overthrow the government woithout overt military action. I'm willing to show restraint and patience to make that work.

They are gaining some steam, creating these proxy wars all around the middle east. No snuggle room for talks in situations like this, only strength can detour their actions, or either they lose momentuem with all the $$$ they are spending, but the same goes for the US with Iraq. Only two choices really, wait and see if they gain...or Bomb Bomb Bomb...
