Lee is correct in saying the IFBB wreaks of hypocrisy - where one lesser rule (competing in other comps - BIG deal!) is ENFORCED while the other more serious rule (drug use) IGNORED.

This is interesting.  Why does the IFBB enforce a rule that benefits and furthers a competitors career and finances and does nothing to hurt the IFBB, yet ignores the rules that effect their health and life and ultimately the reaction BB has in the general publics eye and hurt it's progress.  You would think if the IFBB cared so much about bodybuilding they would do everything they could to improve its reputation.  Yet they ignore the drugs and porn which hurts BB, yet they go all out to support a rule that only improves the reputation of BB and the competitors future.  Why is this Bob.  Why do you let the IFBB do this to the guys you represent.  Thanks for your response.

The enforce a rule that benefits the company...and make no misake, it is a business.

Has it hurt the progress? If that were the case...the natural federations would be cleaning up at the box office.

Fact is that everyone has their opinion, Lee included, but if he wants to compete in the IFBB, there are certain guidelines. Minor violations, all look past, but competing in another federations event is a major violation, and one that he was warned in advance he would be suspended.

If you don't like it, then don't compete.

Is porn or G4P a minor or major violation of IFBB rules? What about the sexual violation of citrus fruits?

Yes they would be if the IFBB never allowed the roids to get out of control.  And even though the NPC allows the use of roids their shows out perform in audience than the pros.  Why is that.  And you say the IFBB is business, yes it is but are they not a business that is being supported by others not asscoiated with the business.  I mean its the members who pay dues and perform in competitions yet they get no piece of the business.  There is a rule book and code of ethics in the business yet they don't follow them if it goes against the business.  Why do they have them then.  Since you have now compared it to a business.  How many business's have rules for their employees and when major rules are broken they don't enforce them.

I was appointed the position only after Shawn stepped down from it, and we had NO voice at that time. Anyone can run for it when it comes up for re-election this fall....Every proposal I've put forth has been for the benefit of the ATHLETES, not necessarily to the IFBB's best interest. In a perfect world...BOTH sides can benefit...It's not a "us against them" senario...

I'll let my record stand on it's own...and invite you to start a thread open to any and all pro's to voice their displeasure with what I've brought to the table thus far.

In the meantime...heres something else you can re-invent...how about a piece of cloth you can wrap around your neck and wear under a collored shirt, you know...something to dress up a suit.
