He's quite strong, but not that overly strong... just good genetics. I know one guy like that at my gym, who's definately not on the juice, who did a legit 500 pound bench press at the university powerlifting competition when he was 20.

That's a long way from 6 plates. Plus this guy is only 235lbs. How heavy was the guy at your university?

222 (101 kg) pounds if I remember correctly... probably 25% fat though. Yeah, he probably couldn't do 6 plates.. but his bp was unassisted. Just a little help from a spotter can make a large difference. I thought there were only 5 aside, oh well, I probably didn't watch closely enough. Pretty strong bugger then.

WHAT? 25% BF and 222 pounds and he did an unassisted 500 pound bench? something doesn't add up

I bumped the castleberry post because i am going to compete in the junior musclemania in november and received a dvd from musclemania. I admit i wont bring nearly as much muscle to the stage as castleberry this time around. I am 6' 3 and have a lot of fillin out to do. I have been dieting for over 7 months for earlier contests and am burnt out. i just want to look decent at this contest.
