Robby had one of the best backs from the 1970s :o :o :o

Uncrowned mr. olympia. I was backstage at the '76 universe in montreal along with all the main players from Pumping Iron, about a year before the movie was released. Even amongst alot of great competing Robinson stood out as something special. Unbelievable; dryness that only a few like Yates have done since, but with better upper body balance and definition than Yates had. Still have my pic talking with him. ;)

When it comes to upperbody mass, separation of the muscle belly's, balance is give or take (depending on your point of view) Robby had a much better Whoa factor than Zane in the late 70s when Zane was winning, However Zane APPEARS to have had a more COMPLETE balance than Robby, less whoa factor for sure, but overall better balance from head to toe of all the muscle groups, not a knock on Robby who was outstanding just a observation.

Kal got penalized in that show for being too lean. i read that in a Muscle World back when that contest happened.

i thought the line-up was better than the olympia for that year.

i actually stated that a couple months ago on here, and was asked to prove it. my scanner wasn't working at the time, but those are the two pics i was thinking of.

When did bodybuilding stop taking away points for looking blocky n square not a V?

I blame lee haney as the transition.

Lats delts n quads too big shoulda taken points off for 0 symmetry.

Arnold was huge but still had it.

Same with serge.
