There are more Black Captain America's than they are white ones.  Most people don't know that if they don't keep up with comics. 

Captain America isn't dead because there were a lot of Captain America's  ;D

You have say that historically, he was the first, but chronologically (as introduced to the reader) he's one of the more recent.
