Albert is proof that Ronnie Coleman can come back and win. People are saying Ronnie is over the hill, etc. But Albert looks better than most pros today when he was competing back in his 40's and 50's.
Albert's bicep peaks are freaky as hell.
true, i believe ronnie definitely has it in him. i actually think that the only thing that can hurt ronnie is himself, not father time (been and gone). like yates, he is a brutally heavy trainer and like yates he has already paid the price for that. he knows that to progress he has to push it to that fine line between continued improvement and injury.
people say that he should back off, train lighter/refine/maintain, but if he doesn't equal or surpass what he did in, say 2002, why on earth would his body retain that muscle and quality. fans and the judges
expect him to come in with the same freaky muscle quality or more every time he appears at the olympia and if he eases off so will his body. the thing is, his body may be better than the comp but he'll get marked down simply for being less than his best. it's human nature.
