Thanks, Ozark. That was a great debate. I agreed with Laura mostly, but I could understand where Tony was coming from as well. One thing neither of them mentioned though is that the White House Administration doesn't want to move but so quickly on this border issue with the 2008 elections right around the corner, nor did the Republican-held Congress and Senate back when they were in control. They don't want to lose the Hispanic vote. But, in my opinion, taking a stand to secure the border will be more favorable to the folks who are here legally in the sense that they would feel appreciated for following the rules, and people who don't will be punished.
