fat people asking questions about fitness, it's really pissing me off.

People asking questions about fitness/losing weight gets really old quick. I wouldn't mind so much giving some advice etc....except in 99% of cases you know the person won't follow anything you said, so why bother?

So true, CQ. I am polite and all, but I stopped giving true answers years ago. Sound bites seem to satisfy these people.

They don't understand simple diet.. They're like, "Oh but I drink diet soda and eat whote wheat bread!"

"Oh I work and that conflicts with my lifestyle!"

Why do they bother asking if they're aren't going to listen?  ::) They get all angsty too and it's pathetic.

These people have a lifetime of absorbing messages from the media about health & fitness that are overly simplistic at best, and downright wrong at worst.  You can't overcome that in a single conversation, so I no longer bother trying.

For the record....we joined the new Planet Fitness down the street from the house just b/c.  It's $10 per month + $5 for unlimited tanning.  OMG, did you guys read John Romano's evaluation of PF a few months ago in MD?  He was so right.

THE RULES
No bandanas
No ski caps
No gallon water jugs
No tank tops
No grunting
No groaning
No dropping weights
No chalk
No screamin & yelling
Gotta have a towel

Hey, there's a big ole sign outside the gym that has a bodybuilder dude on it with a big X on him.....Imagine if the same sign was posted up & had a big fat chick on it.  That's so f-ed up!

I just laugh, go in & get the job done! :)

Everywhere I go, it seems as though people automatically make assumptions.. I dunno if it's just me, but I'm in no way arrogant or cocky. Yet certain people, especially fat women, seem to give me a hard time for no reason. Whether it's women being rude, or fat people asking questions about fitness, it's really pissing me off. And it makes me not want to approach people.

Maybe certain people have a built in inferiority complex? Like I was out shopping in the city and some stupid bitch at the register of a clothing store was polite to some chubby guy in front of me, but soon as I stepped up from the line, her facial expression changed into one of indifference. Dunno why certain people think it's okay to be rude to someone just because they're fit or good looking.

The culprits always seem to be average to below average people.. Obviously not educated, and sometimes fat.

Very simple.  You aren't big enough yet to intimidate them so they show you no respect.  When a natural dude is hitting 180-190 with a tone body and big shoulders everyone knows you workout.  However, the fattie fat fatties are not scared of you....yet.  Plus, they want to make your day as miserable to bring you down and maybe, just maybe!  keep you from achieving you goal of being undeniably huge & muscular.

Once you cross into the 215 lb (natural) you start to look a little imposing and threatening to fattie.  So now instead of being rude they will want to be your friend.  Oh, this is also the time your "friends" will tell you are selfish, conceded, and have no outside interest except bodybuilding.

My friends, it is just the haters trying to drag you down so you are not so far above them.  It strokes their own ego and builds up their self esteem.

Generally speaking only other males give me attitude. Usually comments like "macho" "showoff" and "all steroids" are made And i'm not that big yet with 18" arms and 34" legs (i'm a natural who want to get into juicing at the end of this year ) Ah well fuck them, it's fun to see people looking sideways all the friggin time when passing by.

Are you joking about the water jug?   :-\

I thought they wanted to create a "judgement free zone" All they are doing is judging bodybuilders. Or do they think bodybuilders judge fat out of shape people by looking good?

Time to visit them with a getbig crew and set off their lunk alarm.
