My Fitness/Figure Yahoo groups (or fan clubs)
« on: June 20, 2007, 04:57:27 PM »
Over the last couple of years, I have created several Yahoo! groups with some very hot and amazing fitness/figure women. These are the ones I created so far, and I will build more as time goes on. I'm a major supporter of fitness/figure models and competitors and try my best to give them the respect and positive recognition they rightfully deserve.

My Yahoo Groups

Christine Pomponio-Pate

Juliana Malacarne:
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/juliana_malacarne/?yguid=192910232

I've even created a popular series of Yahoo! groups called FitWars. I just put together two fitness/figure stars together with at least one thing in common. Again, there will be more on the way in the near future:

One: Kiana Tom vs Trish Stratus
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/fitwars_one/?yguid=192910232

Two: Monica Brant vs Timea Majorova
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/fitwars_two/?yguid=192910232

Three: Davana Medina vs Jenny Lynn
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/fitwars_three/?yguid=192910232

Four: Torrie Wilson vs Victoria
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/fitwars_four/?yguid=192910232

Five:  Shannon Nuessle vs Lucie Beregeon
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/fitwars_five/?yguid=192910232

Let me know how you like them (or not like them). If there's anyone in particular that you want to have a regular Yahoo! group or FitWars Yahoo! group, feel free to drop me a line. I'm open to any and all suggestions. Since I'm busy these days, it will take me time to respond. But I promise I will respond back in some form or another. Enjoy them and thanks a bunch! Tell all your friends as well!

I've made a couple of new groups:

Jennifer Gates (fastly becoming a force in pro figure):

Tracey MacDonald (an uncrowned pro-she's too good NOT to get her pro card!):

BTY, for those who are wondering why I chose who I chose, read my blogs on the women:

I've only done a few right now. But in time, all of the females will get their highlight spot.

Thanks for the support!

You know what? I really don't know... :-\

I hope siouxcountry, as well as many of you, at least check them out. I attempt to put as much as I can into these groups, even getting feedback from the ladies I do these fan clubs for.

For those who have joined the group, thank you all so much. It means more than you'll ever know. Later!

Simple...it's nice to be appreciated when you take the time to do things like this. Julie Childs, Amanda Savell, Andrea Dumon, Jane Awad, Jennifer Gates, and Christine Pomponio-Pate sent me e-mails of how much they appreciate the work I attempt to put into them and they give me advice on what goes in there and how to do it.

I mean, Tre, your work is obviously appreciate by many people, including yours truly. If it wasn't for you, many of these talented women would be as well-known to the female muscle world as they are now. I wish I can do what you do, but sadly I can't...not right now anyways.

That's what I mean when I said that the many people joining the various Yahoo! groups means more that most people realized. I hope that answered your question. ;)

I've been debating to whether to say this or not for a few days as it is quite rude, but I am finding this whole tons of fan clubs thing a bit creepy.

Thanks for being honest, and I respect that. I don't think that's a rude comment. However, what's being creepy is what some people say about what they would do with these kinds of women (there are some very obscene comments out there, ya know). I HATE those comments. I think they're rude and uncalled for. These women love what they do, and all I'm doing to trying to be a positive ambassador for them. I mean, I try to be as respectful as I can. Is that too much to ask?

I not trying to be creepy; I've been raised too good at home to do crap like that. That's all I have to say on the matter...

Very nice reply, and I am presently racked with guilt over my comment. I find you considerably less creepy now ;D

Sorry about that...

No need for apologies; it's all good. ;) I don't, however, plan to make groups for every single fitness/figure girl out there. THAT would be creepy...not to mention time-comsuming. I DO have a life besides the Internet! HAHA! ;D

Sherrie Carnicle is wanting to make a name for herself on her way to a pro card, so her and I are teaming up for her Yahoo group in an attempt to become a big name in figure. I hope you all support her! ;)

http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/sherrie_carnicle/

This is my first official team effort as Sherrie is co-owner of this group. She doesn't have a site of her own yet, so this is one way to get her name across. And judging by the various Yahoo! groups, she's hit the jackpot! :)

I've been thinking...I’ve created so many groups/fan clubs over the last couple of years that I decided to put them all together in one place:

http://groups.msn.com/FitnessFigureFanClubs/

BTW, this is NOT a link to a new fitness/figure fan club; just a place of putting my groups together. This is a MSN group, so you will need a MSN/Hotmail account to join. Not only are all the links to my groups are there, but I'm working on a small message board for the fans to discuss their favorites as well as other topics regarding the fitness/figure universe. If you've created fan clubs of any fitness/figure women and would like for them to be added on the group, you're more than welcome to add them. The more the merrier!

The words "Thank You" are not enough for everyone giving my groups a chance.  :)
