If I were Jay's size I wouldn't go any heavier than 3 plates anyway for deads - if that's all he needs to get away with, why do more? Dorian only used to go as high as 440 when training back.

Haha - Dorian went heavy on the rows (which is why he tore his biceps) but he stated many times in seminars that you don't need to overload the weight on deadlifts. Even on stiff-leg deads he would only go as high as 315.

I'm suprised he uses straps for that weight, but i don't know how many reps he is doing. Id figure a guys of Jay's size can hold that kind of weight no problem....Oh well he looks good though.

Jay can do 405 for reps.  I would say he would do fine sticking between 315-405.
