supplement this with expensive wine every week, and spirits occassionaly

My grandfather has been an alcoholic for the past 50+ years. I am also friends with a 35 year cocaine addict. He is 55 and mainlines cocaine daily. The resiliency of the human body never ceases to amaze me.

I'm from germany. Best beer in the world, yet i don't drink. Only sometimes. We call beer "liquid bread".

Can't be compared to that american cow piss.

We have Weizen in the south, comes in 0.5 liters

Pils, originally from the east, todays czech republic.

Regional beer like Koelsch in Cologne, etc. This is Duesseldorf's famous Altbier

I generally end up pretty trashed every Friday with my crew...5 to 7 drinks over the course of the night. That's enough to give me a pretty bad hangover. I don't have the tolerance of my college days anymore. I used to drink red wine sometimes over dinner and a movie with my old roomate out in Los Angeles, but now that I'm back under the units' roof here in Detroit that never happens. I sort of miss it. Nothing gets you giggly like wine. Well, I guess a little bit of that sticky icky can too, but in a different way.

As for me, i absolutely HATE being drunk. It's such a stupid feeling, you act like a prick, cannot walk straight, talk shit, stink, next day you have a headache, cannot train good. Being drunk sucks major ass.

A glass of beer or red wine with dinner is fine, but nothing more than that.

I can drink quite a bit of beer and pretty fast too I've been told.

Luckily I tend to just get pretty playful and talkative when drunk instead of aggressive like some people... i've never had a fight in my life.
