I had a kid ask me what I fed Emmett to get him that big and I told him little kids.

In the news today ---- that is a big freakin black dog!!

The Great Dane/Newfoundland cross tips the scales at an incredible 19 stone 10lb (276lb) and is believed to be Britain's tallest dog.

Did they say how tall the dog is? 

  Emmett is 38" at the shoulders.    Curious as to that cross, Newfies are shorter than Danes. 

  Those legs look kind of stumpy. :-\

oh and they said that samson was 37" tall.

news to me...but i'm not surprised since i've seen people return dogs to the shelter with excuses like..doesn't fit my lifestyle..etc, etc, etc.

Gorgeous!!!   :)     Post a few pics in the Represent Your Pet thread.

   I think for some reason black dogs don't "stand out" or something.  I don't think it necessarily is a conscious thought.
