Cutler vs Yates vs Coleman pictoral
« on: June 30, 2007, 10:24:10 AM »
No gym shots, no black and white, no screencaps, just stage pictures to compare them at their bests. Jay still has time to improve.

funny how thats not even close to the best coleman mm, and you cant see him destroying dorian in the quad, ham, glute department along with jay. jay is also crushes dorian on the lower have overall.

I still can't believe Cutler is Mr. Olympia.

Just a mess of a physique.

What a huge step backwards.

His abs look disgusting.

His waist looks to be 40 inches.

His lower back has wrinkles.

His right bicep is smaller than his left.

His right leg is smaller than his left.

He has absolutely no detail or separation in his arms, delts, chest.

His color is too dark.

Dorian's facial expressions are closer to a normal humans. It may have given him an edge. I'm seein' some Dexter Deraignment creeping into some of his competitors.

some of the best shots ever taken of dorian, but not exactly a good reprentation of ronnie, with the exception of the 98 back shot.

why am I not surprised? ::)

some of the best shots of dorian, some of the worst of Ronnie, with the exception of the 98 back shot.

try comparing dorian with good shots of Ronnie, and guess what? he gets 3 or 4 votes at most, and ronnie gets over 60...its happening all over the net right now LOL

Hulkster, you are such a goddam ####. I used some of, if not the best pictures of Ronnie I could find that fit the comparisons with Cutler and Yates. Make your own fucking comparison if you think this one is so horribly skewed  ::)

What is wrong with the pictures I used?

The front relaxed is from the 01AC. I also attempted to use the front relaxed from the 99O, but the 01AC picture was of superior quality. The front double biceps of Ronnie is the same as the one you posted, except not in black and white. The front lat is also from 99. I have not seem a better front lat picture of Ronnie. The back biceps is from 98 and is Ronnie's greatest rear shot ever. The rear lat isn't the best picture, but I couldn't find any better. I found a 98 rear lat but it was small and the angle was off. The quality of the 01ASC rear lat picture was poor. The side tri shot of Ronnie is the absolute best I've ever seen of him. The ab/thigh is from 01 and is as good as it gets for Ronnie in that pose. The MM is 98, I could have used the 99 one but it was in black and white. Regardless, he looks just about the same in each.

well, for starters the lighting on the Ronnie 99 shots is famously harsh - makes ronnie look white in the front double bi for instance.

second, as others have pointed out, the shots omit one of dorian's greatest flaws - his quads.

third, the most muscular shot is not a great shot at all - and that is dorian's best shot of him because it is not taken head on, thus making his smallish arms look bigger.

look to the truce thread for some better shots of Ronnie vs. these great shots of Yates.

and its obvious what happens. Ronnie wins easily. Just ask the rest of the net LOL.

For the record, Dorian DOES beat Jay though, but not ronnie.

ps good job in using the best dorian and ronnie rear double bi varations. They both look really good there...Jay gets killed..

Pubes, I give you credit for your selection of pics. Although some could be better, at least you didn't use any unflattering shots. My only criticism - pick a year for Ronnie and stick with it. You used pics from 98, 99, 01, and 03. I'd be more than glad to post the best shots of Ronnie that I have if you want to remake it.

agreed.

the ideal layout would be Jay 06 vs. Dorian 93 vs. Ronnie 99.

some potential colour ronnie 99 shots for use:

I WOULD...except there are not great shots of each for that specific olympia. For example, back double biceps of Dorian in 1993 or side triceps of Ronnie in 99.

that's the best jay and he's not in the same league.

lacks density, taper and seperation and compared to yates he is downright smooth. his delts and arms are way behind.

Personally, I don't understand how Jay's ab/thigh looks so BAD....it's worse than Ronnie's for christs sake  :-X
