Ok, Sleep Number is bullshit, but a thin tempur covering is not the same as a whole mattress made of it.

Probably most people have regular spring mattresses.

IMO they're overrated gimmicks, but it's probably a matter of individual taste more than anything.

Are you speaking from first hand experience, or just your pompous opinion?

If you're reading this you have too much free time

Thread is a waste of time. There are too many variations from one model to the next and in personal taste re: soft vs hard sleep. You have to physically visit a store with a good selection, and decide what you like by trying.

That's in addition to considering a foam layer to put on top of any mattress.

I've slept on both (Tempurpedic and Sleep Number)

I can afford any mattress I want.

Yet, my mattresses are all regular Serta inner-spring types.

What do you think?  Roll Eyes

I have a king size bed.     Everyone must sleep on their own side.  Or I need room for my snacks.    That's why I thought that Tempurpedic would be cool, I could have my drinks for my snacks and they wouldn't fall over.     Grin
