Not that it matters a great deal in the wider scheme of things but I was wondering, who has been on Getbig the longest?

Now I automatically thought it would have been Ron, but Hedgehog and Max_Rep have been on here a few months prior. Anyone been on longer?

Yeah, most of them left to form a "secret board" called "ABB Old School Crew" or some such nonsense. I think it lasted a few months before everyone lost interest.

i remember when there was such a stink about using this format for a message board, fuck me looking at the archive makes me wonder how we got by before it sucked!!!!

The main advantage to this format is the ability to post pictures, which as it turns out ups the comedy potential significantly. There were still a lot of good things about the original format.

Just to name a few:

Conversations were much easier to follow, as with the threaded format when you replied to a specific post, your post was listed directly under that post.

Having to click on each post allowed you to do some funny things with post titles.

The ability to change your username at will or even post as other people also added comedy potential
