My 07/07/07 gig: HOW WAS YOURS?
« on: July 08, 2007, 10:49:19 AM »
I've lived in this flat for exactly 7 years yesterday.  I didn't plan it.

I was going to have this full-on knees-up camp thing, I was gonna wear a full-length gown and dangly earrings and serve hors doeurves.

instead I watched that Wembley (Australia/Tokyo I switched it off about 3am when they were leaving NY and going to Seattle or someplace) gig with my 21-year old Italian 6'2" neighbour (who moved out today and went back east to Verona till September and left 2 guitars here and a keyboard).

& It stopped raining today and the sun came out.  mazing awesome.  That tennis game just now was about the best ever sports I've ever ever viewed. xL

Well done.  I forgot to tell you I won on the horses again yesterday.  Turn of Phraze £5 win.

Nadal lost the tennis though.  But he looked great doing it.

I think I'll go out and start a big bonfire.  Sparklers.
xL

Across the road they're now starting to play the music we will be dancing to at Carnival next month.

Carnivals here are different than carnivals over there. Over here they are ran by inbred whitetrash, some of which can drag 600 pound boulders for many, many feet. :o But they are pretty trashy places to go.

And I've never been to Rio for my birthday in February, nor even to Paris, which is like an hour away.

I think it's going to go all pink and blue and then orange and black with lace

incredible day

I went to the carnival once, just a bunch of of toothless people selling shitty prizes and bad rides. Sure would like to try a carnival in another part of the world.

Where you from?

Oh Good God, I hate that question.  I actually think it's rude.
But that's because I'm English and I live in London England but I grew up in Canada for 17 years and they still ask me what part of America I'm from.  What do I look like, a tourist or a terrorist?

I am from Michigan, it's in the midwest United states. Why do people say you look like a terrorist?

I've been to Amsterdam twice.  Can't wait till I do it properly the third time.

the second time was amazing.  I went on a cruise ship.  On my own.  My mother had booked her first world cruise and was given a free trip taster.  She sent me.

The first time I did Amsterdam I was like a student.

I need to get to Italy, I've never been there
Let's go

Not right now, but in my opinion it's getting worse by the day.

Been on Sicily back in 2003 or so. Absolutely nice, but you'd better go in spring or autumn.

I want to go to Italy. My dad was born in Sicily and he goes about twice a year, but I have never been. He says I wouldn't like it, but who knows?

sicily isn't so hot, but there's plenty of other places in italy that are.

YEAH, yeah, I was just googlin Ryanair.  i could get to Pisa (Tuscany)  for GBP 0.01 + £35 taxes etc.

I'm off.  First I fix up my bathroom and kitchen then I rent the place out for £150 a week.  Live in luxury on the beach near a fishing port and see the sun, flirt with the beautiful men and eat proper pizza.

This dream is growing on me, I could leave London.  I always thought I'd live here forever but all of a sudden I wanna go to Dover.

There is absolutely nothing available in Tuscany. Nothing. So where would you stay?

it's called Massa, in Tuscany I'm invited to.  Plus I have two gay friends who live now in Terracina, way further down the coast inbetween Napoli and Roma.
