i benched 600 for 6 when i was 11, i'm trimming down now and just doing reps with 405 now.

I could bench 700 for reps back in HS, but the bodybuilding judges never cared. If my MOM had put up the entry fee $$, I would have taken my NPC  state meet, no doubt. I could have turned pro and be taking a hot tub now with my sweet soul mate.Life sure would have been different for ol' Ricco I can tell ya that Nepoleon.

i was a scrawney little runt when i first started lifting, but even me, the scrawnist and weakest of the weak was still able to bench at least 75lbs! ( my best bench at age 19 and weighing only 125-130lbs myself was 175lbs!) (that's also cause i was pissed off and a little jacked up!)

I was pretty weak when I started, got to the 120 pound dumbells on bench within a year of hard training though.

got to them, then picked up the 70s that were sitting next to them

for a drop set? Don't hate just because you didn't have the drive to push yourself as much as I did when you first started lifting. I was 21 in my first year of lifting though so my natural test levels were already peak then I suppose. Probably couldn't have done it if I was 18 when I started.

It`s not where you start....it`s what you are becoming after years and years of training....we all first have to pay the "price, the pain, the sweat,... in the gym".

i also startet with sets with 110 lbs for 10-12 reps in my first workouts (age 17 years + 10 months).
My last chest training i did 33 reps with 110 lbs dumbells on an incline bench...(i`m in my mid 40`s, training
longer than 26 years...).
of course you did. ::)

i don't lack the drive to press 120lb db's, but I do lack the strength.

you are/were obviously very strong

yes, one time when I was four, my bike fell on top of me I couldn't lift it off with only my arms, I had to get my legs under me to move it :'( I vowed then to never be weak again.

Unless you could bench 75 straight out of the womb, you were that weak once too. Let's not mock weaker people. You need to tip your hat to anyone who's trying to improve themselves. Weak/fat/scrawny people are intimidated to go into gyms. It takes balls for them and I applaud it.
