if he is depleted (and has done 1 or 2 days no sodium)
continue on that route. add 150g carbs the first day  *still no sodium (limit water 1.5 litres)
day 2 of carb load...go to like 250g carbs (this depends on how full he gets on carbs.) still keep sodium to zero, 1L of water limit (at night of day 2 carb loading, only take small sips of water)

and on the final day
which would be show day, start day off with 100g carbs, with some simlpe sugars, ex: a fruit. and only take few sips of water to keep mouth wet.
then small meals mixed with a 2 : 1 ratio of carbs to protein
so like oatmeal and chicken, or sweet potatoes and horse meat (always unseasoned) no sodium. *don't eat till your full, just to stop the hunger, you dont wanna "blow up" on the food either and ruin the look

anyways...its a little more complex than that...might
wanna consult someone a little more knowledgable on diuretics, because
im a little rusty on how much DIOZIDE, ALDACTONE, etc need to be taken.

according to GH15, 100IU insulin would do the job, neat.

for a female that would be enough.

For a male, 250IU insulin plus 80mg prozac with your Dennys Grand Slam, and your good to go
Nasser called Palumbo an acromegalion

if it's friday as in tommorow, then get him to take in about 250 grams carbs tonight.
white rice, red potatoes or rice cakes...even white plain pasta.

water should start cutting immediately and sodium is another story, but i would suggest stopping that too...depends on how "good" of a look you're trying to obtain here.

ok so technically you should start to carb depleted from tommorow till tuesday.
first day of carb up is tuesday (also at that point there its only bottled water and no sodium)
3 days of carb up, with friday being the final one...
see above post as to how the 3 days play out for water and carbs. stop training & cardio on monday.

(do legs ASAP 1 last time friday or today, then relax them until the pictures)
dont train on the carb up days, and then get a pump before the pictures on friday.
a bit of coffee (black) would help squeeze out some extra water.
peace

jmt1 has given me some good advice here (I know NOTHIN about contest / season prep).
I am looking to achieve a more "full" look for my vacationing (in 10 days).

http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?PHPSESSID=a9662f6b9d4edc057d08f465b6a75bb2&topic=158753.0

As the topic is somewhat related (carb loading to look more full) I appreciate any advice you gentlemen can give me  :)

(PS - I am MERELY looking to look better for a vacation..not contest prep.)

Why don't you want to use diuretics?

That's what I was thinking, but then again, when I was fat and started dieting by reducing carbs quite a bit, my arms went from 18 to 17.5 in a matter of days - which tells me I can regain some mass by boosting carbs.

Please don't get the impression I think I am in competition shape :) The situation is merely the one that dieting by low carbs has gotten me a little flat and I'd like to look more full for the vacation I am going on.

Also, note I put "carb loading" in "" for my thread, since it's not a competition shape but merely about getting a more full look.

If your not down in single digit bodyfat percentages (6%) "carb loading" won't do a thing...............
to look your best for pictures/vacation, hit a tanning salon, shave your body hair off,go on a "low carb" diet
(but rotate your carbs to keep your metabolism guessing),and that's it!
save the water depletion/carb loading/sodium depletion/loading for the stage
