Should have retired after the Baldomir fight...he was way overmatched in this one.

Those blood and guts battles really took a toll on him. In reality, the guy was pretty much a punching bag throughout his career. I can't think of one name worthy opponent he has beaten. Every good fighter he has ever fought he has lost to.

Wasn't this supposed to be a nice final victory for Gatti?

Have anyof the "Contender" guys from the first season ever produced? I don't follow boxing, but I wonder about the qaulity of the first season, especially the top two at the end.

Manfredo was the Italian dude they brought back, right? I thought he lack heart (and skill), and it was fixed for him to come back. I figured after "Contender", he was more hype than skill and heart.

he looked like a lot of hype in the calzaghe fight...completely overmatched from the first bell...
