IFBB Event: 210 & under Pro Men's Bodybuilding
« on: July 17, 2007, 10:28:08 PM »

Come August 10th, the first IFBB Pro Men's contest just for competitors 210 pounds and under will come, to be held at the Europa Super Show weekend in Dallas, Texas.  To many, we all wonder if, after years of competitors, fans and various people complaining that there should be two classes, will the IFBB pro competitors come to support this show and compete. This is the first of its kind in a long, long time, and it will be judged by the amount of competitors who choose to compete here, on whether it will come back or not.  Also, whoever compete in this show can also compete in the main show on Saturday night.

So who in your opinion, is the best 210 under pro, who has a good chance to win this show, if they were to compete?

Do we know who is entering this portion of the show yet? I know Eryk Bui is doing it but other than that I haven't hear who's in the mix. I'd have to go with David Henry as the best 210 and under pro.

I remember BOB CHICK saying on an old PBW "why only have one champion when you can have 2?" I couldnt agree more. Genetics are something that is completly out of our control. I dont see how Eryk Bui even in tip top conditioning could ever be judged fair next to Ronnie, Jay or Victor. At the same time he would look great standing next to Stan, Lee, Dave Henry, Mike Ergas, and other competitors with a similar look. I think this CLASS is an awesome addition to the sport and i hope it continues to progress. It would open up a new fan base, and hopefully generate more revenue (endorsments, popularity, etc) for the athletes and the federation. So my take the 210&U is that its far from foolish and should be taken serious.
