he wont go to jail. probably get probation and a suspended sentence. Cute little fines to go with it and in 2 weeks everyone will have forgotten about the whole thing.

This is turning out to be very constructive compared to how big sports stars and celebrities are normally handled in similar situations...I can't wait for him to be charged and convicted...The NFL should suspend him on violation of conduct anyways....

The feds don't f around. Dog fighting is a felony in many states, and the gambling charges are serious also. With the state being a celeb helps you. With the feds it hurts you. They will make him pay. The feds have a 95 percent conviction rate. They make sure they have a good chance to nail you before they procede.

He could absolutely get jail time. It isnt the fact that dog fighting and all the related charges are felonies in VA, which is horrible enough. It is the gambling aspect, tax evasion and a ton of other shit that is associated with making money off of that.

Exactly. There would have been no indictment if a conviction wasn't possible. Do you realize the satisfaction it'd give animal rights activists to land a conviction on someone with the status of Vick? On top of that, it makes the feds look good...
