anyone ever bought a car through a police auction? If so is it a good or bad thing?
depends on who owned the car previously. If you're talking about a police auction of an old squad car,
that's one thing. If you're talking about a police auction of a car seized from a drug dealer, that's another.
I wouldn't want to be the one who buys the $100,000 ferrarri for $5K, ...especially if the previous owner was a drug dealer who still had the VIN number and comes a calling wanting his car back.
