It occurs to me that despite the different colours of our skin, the diversity of cultures, and people's religious beliefs, we're all one human race. It's sad that people live with hatred for one another throughout the world, usually over petty grievances exagerated to ludicrous proportions. Suicide bombers, racists, masogonists . . . relax. People need to respect one another and enjoy the various flavours of humanity.
This may sound hypocritical coming from a soldier preparing to go overseas, but I'd like to believe that peace is sometimes best achieved through more aggressive means . . .
