man, why doesn't shawn have the guts to use his real name?
shawn is still bitter and twisted about getting his ass handed to him by mass monsters his whole career, but he is a born again christian, has business connections in the bodybuilding community (which is largely made up of mass monsters) and, most importantly, is very small in stature and can't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
solution: invent a gimmick where he gets to vent his frustrations under an alter ego. it's like therapy for shawn. he has wanted to say the things hank states on here for a very long time, but if he said them under his real persona he would get 6 different colour shades of shit beaten out of him and he would lose many friends and business associates very fast.
it's a little sad that he feels the need to do this and gives somewhat of an insight into the dark depression a former athlete can feel when they are no longer in the limelight.
he won't make a comeback because his receptors have shut down and the only thing left is to go the palumbo route, besides his mom refuses to go to prison for him again and he has run out of bodybuilders to give up to the DEA. let's face it, it scared the bejesus out of him when they came through his door. the poor guy had never been in trouble with the law before and when it came time for him to sing they couldn't shut him up. i suspect he feels a sense of guilt about that too, being such a little bitch like that would only add to his feelings of inadequacy.
his life is a mixture of guilt and bitterness and he uses a mixture of christianity, fake personas, pretentiousness, arrogance, transexuals and the internet in an attempt to exorcise those demons. unfortunately, he is afraid that if his loved ones knew the real shawn they would reject him and thus he has got used to living a lie.
