tooney is only 6´2" which isnt that tall he looks so much taller because everyone else is a midget in bodybuilding, still looks impressive though!

he should get extra points for his height.

How tall is Dennis Wolf? I think hes about 5'11 or so, and at the NY Pro when all the guys were standing on stage at the same time he towered over everyone.

Tony and Gunter at the olympia were quiet a bit taller than the rest

5'11'' is not tall, AT ALL. almost nowhere in the world where you hear that 5'11'' is too tall, but in bodybuilding it is seemingly so.

A bodybuilder looks much more aesthetically pleasing in the 5'11-6'2 range in my opinion. Lee Priest at 5'3 1/2 or whatever kind of looks like one of those oompa loompas with all that bulk

Why in the world would you want to be a height thats "ideal" for bodybuilding ? When was the last time a bad ass female ever said OH! I hope I find a man who is 5'9"!

well this comment got me inspired to google and according to wikipedia, height is related to intelligence- so that explains why bodybuilding is full of short - very short males.

secondly it shows that the US population ranks pretty low on the world scale, with norway almost at the top and australia and canada there too...sound like good scientific data to explain why the US dominates BB- short and dumb = good bodybuilder.

unfortunately for te rest of the world- and the US itself no doubt, dumb people with weapons is not a good mix...

This is a topic I've studied in depth. I know it seems a bit unusual to say, but the preferred male height range is 5'10-6'0 by females (medium-tall). Remember "tall" is a relative term, and 6'0 is not too tall, not too short. 6'2 is very tall to women who are only 5'4-5'5 on average. That information was from a survey of almost 200,000 women from around the world (I have the link if you want to see it). It doesn't surprise me either. In the US, only 40% of women consider 6'5 to be in their preferred height range for males, whereas 67% consider 5'9 to be. Seems odd, but it's true and statistically significant.

US has the 2nd tallest people in the world, next to the netherlands. they just surpassed us like half a year ago as the tallest people in the world.
