I REALLY, REALLY hate to be a hard ass like this, but here goes...

Putnam did NOT deserve a card. Period. He should not have even won his own damn class. He got booed off the stage as Auguste should have won that class. He DESTROYED him from the back and they were about even from the front. Peter was given a gift from the hype-machine that he worked hard to place himself in the last few months (ever mag on earth, kissing every ass available).

The iron was hot this year for Peter. I think this year was now or never for him. Torres will be in better shape next year. Chaney might come back. Auguste might come back as well. This year was "go-time" for Peter and he came up short, despite all the ass-kissing.

There comes a time when someone has to look at themselves and realize that they are genetically inferior. Peter could hit deads from now until hell freezes over, do pull-ups with 3 45's strapped to him and it wouldn't matter. He is just genetically inferior from the back. I know he likes to or wants to think that GOD has given him some kind of gift, but, I hate to break the news, but God didn't give him a damn thing. Great from the front but inferior from the back. That's just how it is and will continue to be.

Now, as long as he can STOP LOOKING DOWN on everyone around him where he lives, the world will keep going round.

IMO, judging by the pics (but you were there) I would have to say this guy Augusta couldn't pose worth a shit. I've learned that between two people, if one is off and can pose and the other is ON and can't pose, usually the one that can pose gets the nod. How was Putnams posing?

Auguste was in the red trunks and should have won the light-heavies.

Long way to go for Peter towards a pro-card. At least 2 years, maybe 3. His back was no better this year than last. He is genetically cursed when it comes to back. That's all there is to it.
