too much money IMO, 11 million a year is up there with guys like Peyton, Palmer etc., he's good but hasn't proven anything except stats which is easy with guys like Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce to throw to, he's only won one playoff game and the Rams were 8-8 last year, they should have spread that money around a bit, he'd have stayed for 6-7 mil per year.

I don't know man. Good QB's come with a high price, and he's a good one. It's the market now. Hell, look at our QB, young kid, hasn't proven shit, but still making all kinds of money. Now, he may turn out allright, he may not. Either way he gets paid. You guys however, have a proven QB. We don't.

I don't get it...when Hearst was there, Barlow would run hard. Once he got the starting job, he stopped trying. Now I don't entirely blame him, as the line we had was shit, but still.

They need to get that line straightened out. That's been their achilles heel for a while now. Their defense need to improve as well.

9i thought they had a great running back in marcell shipp. i wondered why they picked up edgerrin; who is a great running back, but for the money they oculd have beefed up their offense and defense line

he can play running back or fullback.

yeah he might be promising seems like a hard worker, we also picked up Drew Bennett a big reciever from Tennessee and Randy McMichael the tight end from Miami and this DT we picked up from Nebraska, Karraker looks like a solid pickup.

I think it was more of a "PR" move, as they had a new stadium opening up (which in most places is enough to get the crowds to come in), so they need a big "name" to fill the seats and give the fans hope.

i get fed up with fullbacks. very few actually suck it up and try to blast people..like they are supposed to. mike alstott is one of the few who i like. he goes straight at the guys. which is what a fb should do. fb's dont have the jukes necessary to evade a pro linebacker. you gotta crack the shit out of em, get at least 4 yards.
