« on: July 30, 2007, 07:54:34 PM »
Looking Through MD i came across an adds for fake supplements Anadol,Dianatrol,Stanazel,.Plasma Expanders the list goes on why are young men blowing hundred of dollars on this crap when it does nothing.Does the Magazines have no morals or is it the bottom line.
Whey powders,Creatine are legit show some integrity magazines and get rid of these scams.
But i guess its all about the money.VERY SAD.

I feel they buy this shit 'cuz they are living the american way and searching for a wonder pill to do anything without actually having to work hard and earn it. The shortcut path is so much easier.Like Ronnie says "everyone wants to be a bodybuilder but no one wants to lift some heavy ass weights." Long time ago a man once said a fool and his money are soon parted.I believe the same man said there a sucker born every minute. As for ads in magazines in general, they are the whole reason i wouldnt shell out my $ for these magazines they are 75% ads and 15% filler and maybe 10% usueful reading material.

Its actually Steve Blechman, the lead man for Muscular Development. He does kind of look like a skinny, gay version of Chick though.

Yup it's all about the $$. There is a market for suckers, and someone is making money; in turn, the supplement companies pay MD to advertise, as simple as that

The magazines SHOULD refuse to run certain ads.  Why promote something that is detrimental to the sport upon which your magazine is based?  Why allow an ad in your magazine for a product(s) which may be of detriment to your readers?  Bad deal in my opinion.  A sad state of affairs really...

That would be logical and optimistic, Chris. As things stand, such promotions just reflect/mirror the morass that is bb'ing.  :-\

hahaha, it worked out well that Lee gets fat in the offseason.  Usually they just use a bloated bodybuilder (who still has abs) but who's letting his gut hang out...lean him out for a few weeks, tan him, oil him up, and wham, look what hydroxycut can do  ;D

I remember musclemag even rated fatburners... from clen to T3, and Hydroxycut was still ranked higher than all of them  ;D
just not good enough
