I am amazed, as I am seeing the video of the bridge on just how bad the damage is. I also heard that many, many people - police, fire, rescue and normal people rushed out and did whatever they could do take care of people.

Sometimes you take your loved ones, good friends, family for granted .... sometimes they just want to hear that you care before it is too late...

yeah, we should just pack up and leave, because it is has been getting hard... Sounds like some one lived his whole life with his tail between his legs. It will take years to get our troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq, so you are saying that we should just cut of financial support of the troops like it is a wounded limb? There was a funny episode with a german singer, Herbert Groenemeyer. He complained about how bad politics were, how germany was killing off africa with monetary and economic policies and the environment and that politicians made everything wrong.

The leader of a big german party made an appearance on TV the next day, smiling and saying, he would gladly offer Mr Groenemeyer a seat in the Bundestag (german parliament) through his party after next elections, then Mr Groenemeyer could try and change all that.

Needless to say, he declined the offer.
